287(g) — Sheriff/police agencies that signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with ICE to perform immigration enforcement functions from local jails or in the field.

Detainers — Civil requests from ICE asking a jurisdiction to hold someone beyond their lawful release. Honoring detainers without 287(g) MOAs is noted separately.

SCAAP — State Criminal Alien Assistance Program payments: federal reimbursements to localities that incarcerated people with certain immigration statuses.
